Criminal liability resulting from cooperation in the treatment of a patient

Abstract
The aim of the article is to present and systematize the problem of criminal liability for an error in the treatment of a patient in which several people were involved. Complex treatments often require cooperation, which, in the event of an error, may lead to a conflict of responsibility for the result. When attributing criminal liability to a given person, it is very important to take into account the scope of duties that they were responsible for with respect to the patient. The analysis of the problem is based on a review of the relevant literature by applying the theoretical and legal method.
