Neuro-inclusive recruitment processes – a comparative study of Dell Technologies, Microsoft, and SAP programs

Abstract

Comparative study of the neuroinclusive hiring programs of three global IT corporations, Dell Technologies, Microsoft, and SAP, was focused on the technical accessibility of their recruitment websites, the structure of candidate selection stages, and the range of accommodations offered. A literature review distilled nine best-practice recommendations for supporting neuroatypical candidates. The research question is which program design and communication elements most closely align with these recommendations and which require improvement. Hypotheses were tested through Google Lighthouse and WAVE audits against WCAG 2.2, analysis of update dates and job-posting activity via web tools, and mapping of recruitment stages and KPIs. Results show that Dell achieves exemplary technical accessibility and offers the most comprehensive set of accommodations. Microsoft reaches 98/100 in Accessibility Score and employs a flexible recruitment model, and SAP scores 91/100 requiring improvement. Correlations between accessibility quality and the number of accommodations have been confirmed
