This article will help you understand the concept of liabilities and their function in the National Court Register, how they can affect debtors and creditors, and what consequences the publication of information about liabilities has. The aim of this paper is to analyse the significance of disclosing civil law liabilities in the National Court Register and their impact on the situation of entrepreneurs, creditors and contractors. An analysis of the legal provisions of the Act on the National Court Register and the monograph will allow for an understanding of the warning and preventive functions of the entry, increasing the transparency of economic transactions. At the same time, the analysis points to the risk of abuse in entries made without verification of the validity of claims, which may damage the reputation of an entrepreneur despite the lack of confirmation of the debt. The paper highlights the need to clarify the provisions and increase the guarantees of protection of entrepreneurs' rights while maintaining the informational function of the register.
