    A Dual System of Vocational Education in Germany - Possibilities of its Implementation in Poland

    Abstract

    Education plays an important part in everyone's life as it enables them to find a wellpaying job and raise their social status. The aim of this article is to present a dual system of vocational education, which exists in Germany and is an important component of the general education system. So far, this systemic solution has not received much attention in Poland. The author describes and analyses the advantages of the dual system of vocational education, and considers possible obstacles that could prevent its introduction in Poland. Finally, a number of measures are proposed that could facilitate its successful implementation. (original abstract)
