A Technical Analysis of the Housing Market in Poland Based on the Richard Wyckoff Method

Radosław Marciniak

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to show how a technical analysis can be used to examine the housing market in Poland. The core idea of the work is based on the Wyckoff Method, commonly used by many investors in the world. The main assumption is that the economic principle of supply and demand works in all markets. Therefore, if there is any imbalance, the market will move to compensate for it. Demonstrating this imbalance on the chart enables us to understand and possibly even predict how the price will change. The cities of Warsaw and Poznan are used as the two examples analysed and presented in this paper. (original abstract)
