The Luxury Goods Market

Abstract

The main goal of the presented paper is the presentation of the luxury goods market in Poland and the analysis of the collected data. The study is based on several methods, such as observation, data analysis, the analysis of exchange rate, microeconomic and macroeconomic indicators, as well as the evaluation of the available publications. The paper consists of the socioeconomic characteristics of the luxury goods market and the description of the related economic phenomena. Furthermore, the study also highlights and defines the differences between the Polish and global market of luxury goods, and the problems which have occurred recently. (original abstract)
