Blogvertising as a new form of marketing

Abstract

Blogs are considered as one of the most highly developed communication tools in the Internet. Thanks to their distinguished features, blog owners have a strong impact on their readers. This influence has been notified by marketers who started using blogs to promote products and services. The aim of this paper is to analyze the role of blogs as a new marketing tool, as well as, to present the results of empirical studies. The studies showed how blog readers perceive advertising on blogs and how product reviews presented on blogs can influence consumers buying behavior. (original abstract)
