Peer Review Process

1. The journal “The WSB University in Poznan Graduate Research Journal” employs a double-blind review process. This means that the reviewer’s identity is not revealed to the author, and the author’s identity is not revealed to the reviewer; however, the identities of both the reviewer and the author are known to the (decision-making) editor.

2. A submitted article undergoes an initial assessment by the journal editor to determine its alignment with the journal’s scope.

3. Articles that pass this initial screening are forwarded to at least two independent external reviewers who are unaffiliated with the author's institution. All supplementary materials are also subject to review.

4. Reviewers evaluate the article and submit their comments, suggestions, and recommendations to the editor:
   a) accept for publication without reservations
   b) accept for publication subject to author revisions
   c) reject outright

5. The editor reviews the evaluations and forwards them to the author(s) (along with any additional guidance). Upon receiving the reviews, the author(s) decide whether to implement changes and resubmit the article, and they formulate responses to all comments and suggestions made by the reviewers and editors.

6. The editor decides whether to accept the article and proceed to proofreading and publication, or to return it for further review and revision.

7. In addition to reviewer recommendations, the author may receive further suggestions from:
   a) the editor-in-chief,
   b) the language editor – regarding linguistic issues,
   c) the technical editor – regarding text formatting and editing,
   d) the statistical editor – if the article contains statistical data.

8. The final decision to publish the article is made by the editor-in-chief, in consultation with the issue's managing editor, following a review of the entire editorial process.
