Possibilities of the Realization of Educational and Education Functions of the Tourism on the Example of Poznań

Abstract
This article is an attempt to systematize the concept of educational tourism, indicating its place among other forms of tourism, and, above all, show the impact of educational tourism for upbringing and education: historical, cultural, and natural. This type of tourism offers the opportunity to gain practical knowledge on carefully selected examples or provides an "entrance" into the role of a real researcher - escaping an overload of theoretical information in school textbooks. Poznan, as one of the first cities of the Polish State, as a city with a rich history, its present and culture, with its wide range of events and cultural values, is an ideal place to carry out all the tasks and objectives of this particular form of tourism.
