Tourism and the Polish Nature and Its Protection. Part 2, Tourism on Legally Protected Areas

Wanda Staniewska-Zątek

Abstract

The touristic use on protected areas should be permissible but, at the same time, should be harmonious with the environment protection. Strict, active and partial protection can be distinguished. Unfortunately, these principles are not always obeyed in practice. The article treats about reserves, national parks and landscape parks. It also concludes that the environment protection and tourism can coexist in harmony.(original abstract)
