Private Banking - New Sources of Income in Lieu of Changes in the Financial Market

Abstract
Recent changes in the financial market, including the private banking sector, have again tested and put a demand on the adaptive capabilities of banks. Faced with decreasing margins and more stringent regulatory requirements, banks are forced to seek new sources of income. While the author offers an overview of the global private banking sector in the context of changes in the financial market, the discussion chiefly focuses on the challenges to be addressed by private banking in Poland.(original abstract)Keywords:
