The Development of China's Cities between 2008-2011

Abstract
The article describes the changes that have recently affected the development of cities in China. It attempts to characterize the major and largest cities and their locations as well as to show how they have developed in recent years. The author highlights the key drivers of urban growth and the correlations between growth and such factors as population, investments, and migration. China is now implementing a new strategy in urban development. The paper indicates what strategy should be adopted by the cities to ensure that they can continue to grow steadily and increase their potential.(original abstract)Keywords:
