A Study of Polish Household Expenditure vis-à-vis Economic Trends in the European Union

Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze spending by Polish households between 2006 and 2013, emphasizing changes taking place in this period and their linkage to income dynamics. Household consumption is shown vis-à-vis some economic indicators, which makes it possible to capture relationships between the consumption of specific goods and the condition of Poland's economy during the economic crisis experienced by the European Union countries.(original abstract)Keywords:
