Abstract
Understanding the relations and interactions between the various players in management education is fundamental to any in-depth analysis of its roles, values, purposes, and unfulfilled promises. The paper attempts to describe the new realities of an increasingly competitive environment which management education has to embrace, with an emphasis on the challenges, pitfalls, and blind spots to be faced. A range of alternative future scenarios for management education are discussed, since it is only through change and innovation that the future of the field can be secured.(original abstract)Keywords:
