Comparison of U.S. and China's Economies - Selected Demographic and Economic Conditions

Abstract

The unipolar world order with the United States as the sole superpower has been shaken because of China's awakening. The People's Republic of China has modernized its economy for three decades and become the important player in the world system. China has subjected economically both developing countries and developed markets. Considering China's development dynamics, this Asian country may become the new superpower. This paper compares China's and U.S. economies in terms of selected demographic and economic conditions. The main aim of this article is to find the difference between social and economic attributes of these countries.(original abstract)
