The Functioning of Science and Technology Park - Factors in the Development of the Region

Abstract
The transformations occurring under the conditions of globalization and integration make that the role of innovation and new technologies is growing. The article presents the importance of a science and technology park in the development of the region. Two parks operating in the region of Lublin have been characterized. Reference is also made to research carried out in enterprises that are residents of the parks.(original abstract)Keywords:
