Abstract
The development and the tendency of modifications in the cities, agglomeration and metropolitan areas of a size comparable with Wroclaw was presented in the article. The development and importance of public urban transport system was discussed. The article also presents the concept off Wroclaw underground. The importance of underground in transport system of particular cities with their similarities and differences was discussed.(original abstract)Keywords:
