Risk Management as an Element for Management Control of Public University

Abstract
Polish public universities are implementing into their management systems new management tools based on the assessment and risk analysis. The aim is to improve the quality of the activity and ensure efficiency in the spending of budgetary resources. Effective risk management is therefore an important element of management control processes necessary to improve the management of a higher education institution. The article contains valuable advice regarding the importance of correct assessment of risk in various areas of public universities.(original abstract)Keywords:
