Financing the Prevention of the Negative Consequences of the Natural Disasters in Łódź Voivodeship

Abstract
The aim of this article is to present the issue of financing the prevention of the negative consequences of the natural disasters. Spending financial resources on the public safety, the flood and health protection, the spatial development and removing the effects of these kind of phenomena makes possible to minimize the negative consequences of their occurrence. The resources are assigned to e.g. spatial planning, crisis management and recovery. The author presents the abovementioned issues on the example of Łódź Voivodeship.(original abstract)Keywords:
