The Influence of Gminas and Local Enterprise on Innovative Character and Competitiveness of the Region

Abstract
The article presents a short description of selected solutions which may support the development of local self-governments and enterprise and thus influence the regional development and innovation. Such activities include: environmental resources management as based on the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) in organizations within the gminas as well as on the Life Cycle Assessment of products (LCA). First of all, the presentation of chosen results of the survey conducted among entrepreneurs and local councils of Great Poland region was brought into focus. (original abstract)Keywords:
