The Analysis of the Demographic Changes in Poland

Abstract
The aim of the article is to present selected aspects of demographic changes in Poland in 2002-2010 and in the future. Data source was Demographic Data Bank prepared by Central Census Bureau. The comparative analysis of population changes took into account differences between voivodhips and division between town and village. The economic structure of population by age groups was taken in analysis. The age structure of population in Poland is a dynamic change. In Poland there will be a rapid process of society aging in the next few years. It should be taken into account in shaping different aspects of state policy. (original abstract)Keywords:
