Diversity of the Entrepreneurship Indicator's Value in the Communes of the Siedlce District

Abstract
The article analyses the SME sector development trends in the years 2004 and 2010 in the Siedlce county. In 2004, 3866 business entities across the Siedlce county were registered in the REGON system (National Official Register of Business Entities). In 2010, the number of business entities increased by 1082 companies. The study also attempts to assess the level of entrepreneurship, establishing a rating of communes for the Siedlce county. For the purposes of analysis, entreprcneurship index was used. Entrepreneurship indicator was presented as a number of registered enterprises for 1000 inhabitants in the production age.(original abstract)Keywords:
