The European Funds as a Tool to Effective Finance Management of Local Governments

Abstract
The article presents the opportunities of raising the EU resources by local governments as a part of particular operational programs being a key to successful finance management and a chance to become more competitive. Structure analysis of WRPO source division has been carried out according to seven priorities: 1. Company competitiveness, 2. Communication infrastructure, 3. Natural environment, 4. Revival of problem areas, 5. Infrastructure for Human Resources, 6. Tourism and culture, 7. Technical aid. The effectiveness of beneficiaries putting forward a motion to subsidize has also been shown. (original abstract)Keywords:
