Abstract
The author discusses the policies of budgetary surpluses in Chile, as an alternative to the policy's debt carried by the state. The article discusses the policy statements of the budgetary surplus in Chile and a system of balanced budget by 2001, the author also presents the benefits of the balanced budget policy.(original abstract)Keywords:
