Local Government Unit Debt under Debt Limits

Abstract
Local Government Unit Debt under Debt Limits Use by local government units of debt instruments, makes these units are indebted. There is a problem a safe level of debt of local government units. To those individuals benefited from the debt as a source of financing tasks as excessive, the legislature limited the possibility of incurring their obligations by introducing limits on the debt to the Law on public finance. The aim of this article is to present the debt of local government units in the light of the limits of indebtedness. The analysis was based on several indexes, such as general government debt and local government debt in nominal value, and its dynamism. The empirical analysis was made with reference to index of load of revenue the local government unit debt and index of load of local government revenue to debt service. (original abstract)Keywords:
