Local Development Strategy as a Crucial Instrument in the Process of Implementation of Local Development Policy - Selected Aspects

Abstract

Local development strategy is a planning document, which constitutes the final work undertaken in the process of strategic planning at subnational level. The strategy of local development plays an important role in the process of communication between the municipality and stakeholders at the local level, creates a positive image of the territorial unit, which might be assessed as a credible partner in the socio economic relationship in the local market. Local development strategy as crucial planning document supports comprehensive and long-term management process of the territorial entity and raises resource al locative efficiency.
