Assessing Communities Creditability Using Multidimensional Comparative Analysis - an Example of Greater Poland and West Pomeranian Communities

Abstract
In this paper the author has made an attempt to create an indicator of community's creditability. In order to do it multidimensional analysis had been used especially the tool, called synthetic variable. The designed indicator aggregates financial information about the community's activity, what gives a wide view on the financial situation of the community, which to a higher degree determines the ability to repay the communal debt. The indicator had been used to assess the creditability of the communities of Greater Poland and West Pomerania. The obtained results allowed to make some general conclusions on the credit quality of the analyzed communities. (original abstract)Keywords:
