Analysis of Banks' Risk Performed by the Polish Safety Net Institutions

Abstract
The paper presents goals and scope of analysis of banks' risk prepared by Polish institutions of safety net. The most important institutions responsible for the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process is KNF; the methodics of BION is presented. The paper also describes the methodics of ratings issued by BFG (concerning identification of bank risk). Financial stability reports published by NBP are also mentioned. The quality of analysis by Polish institutions of safety net can be indirectly confirmed by the efficiency of supervisory activities. The analysis concerning the whole banking systems should however be developed. (original abstract)Keywords:
