Micro and Macroenviroment as a Determinant of Credit Risk of Commercial Banks in Poland

Abstract

Banks as financial institutions operating in turbulent environments, because of the importance of credit in shaping the basic of the economic - financial parameters, should analyze with special attention all the signals coming from the enviroment. Both micro and macroenviroment affect the standing of banks and their perception by current and potential customers, in particular, affect the outcome of the credit activities of banks. The publication has been taken to try to identify the bank's relationship with its surroundings, with particular emphasis on the impact of economic situation (macroenviroment) on the effects of the credit activity.(original abstract)
