Professional and Personality Requirements for Controllers as Revealed by Questionnaire Research

Joanna Dynowska

Abstract

personality traits of controllers. According to the first hypothesis, the most important, sought qualities are: a good knowledge of accounting, controlling and the economics of enterprises, a minimum of 2-3 years of experience and a good command of English, with a knowledge of foreign languages other than English being less important. The conducted research confirms this hypothesis regarding the desired traits of controllers. The research also confirms a second hypothesis, which states that the most important personality traits associated with the controlling profession include: analytic aptitude, creativity, independence, the ability to learn quickly, the ability to work in a group, and accuracy, especially in making analyses.
