Management Accounting Application Possibilities in Agriculture : Research Results

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present contemporary problems concerned with financial accounting and accounting management of agricultural farms. The paper is based on research conducted in Lower Silesia. Results on the research show that the main problem is to convince farmers of the benefits of accounting. The barier here is that so far, farmers think that keeping the accounts is troublesome, time consuming and not necessarily useful.(original abstract)
