Human Resurces as Determiner of Social and Economic Development of Region

Abstract
Meaning of investments in human resources in the local development process is very important. Intensive investment in the development of human resources contributes to rational decision making processes, correct functioning of management, the updating of knowledge bases, raising the level of competitiveness and the economic process of the modern enterprise as a result. The orientation on knowledge-based economy in Poland requires a construction of information society and more dynamic human capitals to generate, allocate and make the knowledge more efficient. Process control requires a human resources' monitoring for knowledge-based economy. Monitoring should be concerned on society education, occupational training of employee and enable the access to new technologies for society.(original abstract)Keywords:
