Companies Financing under Conditions of Economic Downturn

Abstract
Financial data of companies for the years 2007- 2009 confirm often formulated opinions that the world financial crisis have not caused the sudden economic collapse in Poland. Although there was the decrease in sales and profitability, drop of investment expenditures and rise of unemployment. However, these changes were not as intense as in the case of many countries with a higher level of economic development. The development of Polish companies is limited not only by the crisis in the world's economy but also due to large administrative barriers. If Polish companies can take a profit on expected growth of the world's economy, these barriers should be eliminated.(original abstract)Keywords:
