Logistic Services as a Motivating Factor for an Economic Development of Regions

Abstract
The article describes logistics services sphere development which is one of a possibility of revitalizing regions. The author marks that the attention on logistics and logistics management as a strategic plan of action and competitiveness increase should be considered. Moreover, the ways of effective control of processes in region as a system are shown. The author devotes the most attention to possibility of logistics services development intensification by building logistic center. It is proved by example of Logistic centre Netto in Motaniec (zachodniopomorskie province). This centre was founded to synchronize cargo flows in supply chain and to provide services in the most complementary way. The center economically revitalized region because of new workplaces and trading exchange increase.(original abstract)Keywords:
