Financial System Development and Economic Growth. Polish Example

Abstract
The aim of the article is presentation of basic theoretical discussion concerning mutual dependencies between development of market financial system and economic growth. The article also presents numerous examples of international empirical research which was conducted in this extent and attempts to identify the dependencies in Polish economy on the basis of authors' own empirical research. The authors try to prove that there is a significant relation between those two economic categories, particularly taking into account the fact that banks and stock exchanges play an important role in stimulating economic growth.(original abstract)Keywords:
