Abstract

The article presents theoretical and methodological principles of the development of industrial corporations proposed by the author and illustrated in the context of the machine building sector. The author focuses on the application of synergy effects, which are seen as the most promising factor in terms of specific development of corporations and integrated corporate structures. A method for estimating the economic effect of synergy for machine-building corporations is proposed, which is based on the analysis of additional income from an innovation project, taking into account the initial cost of fixed assets and the cost of the innovation project as a whole. The author shows that the method could help to accelerate the innovative development of machine-building corporations.(original abstract)
