Implementation of the UE Regional Policy in the Conditions of an Exclusively Regulated Economy

Abstract
The authors analyse the concepts of divergence and convergence in relation to the process of Ukraine's integration with the EU. A number of factors inhibiting the convergence process are identified. A comparative analysis with Ukraine's trading partners is also conducted in order to reveal the essential characteristics of the exclusive regulatory system governing the Ukrainian economy.(original abstract)Keywords:
