Determinants of Visitor Satisfaction to the Poznan Agglomeration

Abstract

The paper presents results of research conducted among visitors to the Poznan agglomeration. The aim of the survey was to identify factors influencing visitor satisfaction in the Wielkopolska Region. The analysis was performed with the partial least squares method. It was found that strong influences on visitor satisfaction have cognitive attributes of the image (cost of accommodation, quality of tourism services) and affective attributes (hospitality, security, aesthetics and recreation opportunities). In addition, satisfaction is influenced by the perception of the quality of tourism infrastructure (catering and accommodation). The research does not confirm mediating the role of service quality perception between the destination's image and visitor satisfaction.(original abstract)
