Local Entrepreneurship and its Determinants

Abstract
This paper discusses the problem of local entrepreneurship, in terms of identification of the types and extent of economic activity support by the local municipalities. It points out the premises and the essence of entrepreneurial orientation of the local government. It also discusses its determinants, pointing to the distinction between the traditional and entrepreneurial character. The bases of inference are the results of a pilot empirical study implemented in selected municipalities of the Podkarpacki Province.(original abstract)Keywords:
