Talent Management - Motivating and Retaining Talented Employees in the XXI Century

Abstract

In an era of high competition in the market, companies are gaining a competitive advantage thanks to talented employees who build the company and strengthen it in the face of crises. This requires special attention to the position of talented employees and their level of motivation and desire to remain in the company. The aim of the article is to analyze and specify the different approaches and methods of motivating and retaining talented employees in the organization. Analyses were made on the basis of theoretical assumptions pertaining to talent management, motivation, and retention of talented employees. In addition, a case study and articles showing the practical implications of different strategies of motivation and retention were also reviewed.(original abstract)
