Prevention of Aging Process through Recreation

Abstract

The article characterizes factors influencing the aging process and presents physiological changes which take place in the human body at this time. Physical activity was defined as crucial to moderate of consequences resulting from this process and to postpone the beginning of an old age. The article indicates positive results of physical activity and factors slowing down the aging process. An adequate dose of physical movement for elderly people was also suggested. The conclusion emphasizes a significant role of active lifestyle and the maintenance of optimal physical ability in gerontology prevention.(original abstract)
