Feminist Economics and Its Position on the Current Economic Crisis

Abstract
The paper aims to introduce the reader to what has been termed as feminist economics but has hardly established a presence in Polish scientific discourse. By revealing the nature of this discipline the author seeks to demonstrate how this approach can contribute to the study of the current economic crisis, which should be, after all, perceived as a central research problem for present-day economics. The discussion is concluded with thoughts on the question of what feminist economics can actually offer and why we might need it.(original abstract)Keywords:
