Abstract

The following work focuses on the issues concerning a relation between moral competence and self-leadership strategies. Not only is this work a review of literature on the subject but it also presents theoretical analyses which suggest that there is a two-way relationship between these two aspects of human functioning. The work further presents empirical research carried out on 176 postgraduate students that verifies the presumption of essential relations between moral competence and self-leadership strategies. The finding reveals that this competence is determined by the following skills: assessing views and assumptions, setting goals and focusing on mental imagery of successful future performance.
