Product-mix Management in Knowledge Based Economy

Abstract

Implementation of two kinds of knowledge categories know-how and know-why concerning absorption costing (RKP), activity-based costing (ABC) and theory of constraints (TOC) enabled to demonstrate that TOC was a tool which successfully determined the optimal product-mix. Therefore the two main AВС creators claim that this costing was able to shape optimal product-mix there was not confirmed. Presented knowledge can be shared and implemented mainly by these enterprises which use still RKP for enterprise management. It can contribute to growth and effectiveness improvement of the enterprises operating on a local and regional market.(original abstract)
