Transformation of Labour Market in Poland, Euro Zоnе and Other Countries of European Union (2000-2008)

Abstract
The aim of the paper is presentation, analysis and evaluation of changes taking place on labour market (in 2000-2008) in Poland, euro zone countries and European Union. The task was realized taking into account situation on labour markets of these areas as the ones belonging to countries forming common market within European Union. The analysis also reviews, first of all, the situation in labour supply, labour demand, and the level and relation of salaries and unemployment. Relating to and analysis of macroeconomic data concerning this labour market have been conducted in order to compare and evaluate labour market in Poland on the background of euro zone and European Union.
