Methodology of cyberinformation processing in the warning system against the occurrence of extreme weather events

Abstract

Extreme natural phenomena contribute to the emergence of an increasing threat to human life and health as well as material losses. Therefore, in the crisis management system, various types of activities are taken to prepare the space to prevent or mitigate the effects caused, for example, by a natural disaster. The publication contains information on the possibility of using GIS (Geographical Information System) systems in supporting planning and management in situations related to the occurrence of dangerous weather phenomena, including the general characteristics of the ISOK system. The publication also contains a comprehensive analysis of the numerical models used in the weather monitoring and forecasting system.
