Recommender Systems and their Applications

Abstract
This paper aims to describe recommender systems characteristic, their classification based on selected criteria and indication of the practical applications of such systems. It presents a variety of previously implemented technical solutions in this area. The methods of data collection by recommender systems are also mentioned. Recommender systems have been shown as a subgroup of personalization systems. (original abstract)Keywords:
