STRUCTURAL CHANGES IN THE INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION OF UKRAINE IN THE CONDITIONS OF WAR

Abstract

Changes in the structure of Ukrainian industry were studied in order to identify the factors of weakening and growth of the country's industrial potential. Industry sectors that had the greatest impact on structural changes are signed out. The main reasons and consequences of the structural changes are indicated. In particular, it was noted that the practical destruction of the metallurgical industry had a significant impact on the economy of Ukraine. Instead, there was an increase in the industrial structure of the following segments: supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, manufacture of wood products, production of pharmaceutical products and textile production. The volume of industrial products sold outside the state was analyzed. The share of such products in the sold, as well as the structure of sold industrial products outside the country, was determined. Critical directions of industrial production in Ukraine, as well as prospects for the development of industrial potential in modern conditions, have been established.
