Challenges and prospects of e-commerce market development

Abstract

The aim of the article is to identify the challenges and prospects for the development of the modern e-commerce market. The theoretical part uses a review of current literature and websites related to the topics of the article. In the research part, research results and selected reports were presented. Then, the collected data was analyzed and conclusions were formulated.  The dynamic development of the e-commerce market over the last few years has affected economic growth around the world. More and more companies are deciding to move their business activities from the real world to the virtual world. The online availability of an increasing number of products and services promotes competitiveness and enhances the quality of goods offered.
