Tomasz Sahaj

Abstract

The purpose of this work is an attempt to answer the question of whether, in the capital of Greater Poland, there are favourable architectural-urban conditions and appropriate social climate for the development of tourism for the disabled. An analysis was carried out of main tourist attractions (especially museums) located in the Old Market Square and its closest surroundings, chosen forts, and the city stadium which was modernised for Euro 2012. Train stations and the airport were visited as well, and a course of traffic routes was checked. Latest social trends in the development of the city inviting residents to be integrated and to be active were taken into account.(original abstract)
